The school is located at Purok Kalubihan Daro, Dumaguete City. A place central to everything as it is near the heart of the city and certainly just a stones’ throw away from the new ACES hospital that is still under construction. It is indeed an ideal place to learn, with a hospital on the rise just near, new food establishments and commercial buildings around will make everything very convenient to students. And because the school is a little secluded from the road, it still offers a measure of privacy. The environment of the school is really comforting and welcoming. You can really feel the essence of “home” while staying.

Words from the Principal

I first thought about creating a school because I wanted to help those non-native speakers of English to learn the language in the best and easiest way. When I was 25 years old, I decided to go abroad to review my way of life. I traveled to Canada, United States, UK, Australia, and more than 20 other countries. Among them, it was the English language that became the key point to review my self-confidence. Through travelling, I was able to meet a lot of friends from different races. I’ve learned to come out from my shell and explore what is outside of my comfort zone. I get acquainted with other nationalities’ affairs, cultures, beliefs, traditions and etc. With the advent of Information Technology, new doors are open for communication. A lot of people seek to learn the English language in order to understand and to be understood. Communication is very significant especially if we want to connect people whose nationality is different from us. Nowadays, communication is the common issue faced by people.   But, I’ve realized that there is one key to solve the issue. It is learning English as a Second Language. English is considered as the official language of the world and it is the most widely used language in order to link or connect people around the globe. When I traveled to different countries, English helped me a lot in my journey. Through this, I was able to express my thoughts, feelings, etc. I feel comfortable every time I deal with people. English is my only foundation to fill the gaps in communicating people abroad. A Japanese Emperor named Jimmu said this word, “Hakko ichiu.” This word contains the meaning that “All of the people in the world is considered as one big family.” However, some people may not have dreams. I hadn’t had one. Dreams will come someday. If you do not think like that and you do not have a dream, would you rather go to make a dream? English may be a tool for that, isn’t it? Through my language school, I am looking forward to seeing you soon.
